Verifying your identity (KYC)

After you reach the monthly limits, you will be asked to verify your identity or address. The process is triggered automatically inside the app. Verifying your identity is required by law to prevent money laundering and financing of terrorism. Important: you will not be able to use certain functions until you successfully pass the verification. This includes crypto-only operations too!

 

KYC limits

When you reach the limits, you will be asked to provide the required information automatically inside the app.

Input full name and country of residence. KYC0 + verify your identity with a document (passport, ID card, driver's license) and a selfie. KYC1 + verify your address with a utility bill (electricity, gas, water, internet) or bank statement.

  • How long does it take to pass KYC verification?
    Usually, it takes less than 30 minutes but can take more in some cases (up to 2 hours or more).

  • How will I know if I passed or failed the verification?
    You will be notified via email and push notification on your phone. 

  • Can you verify me via email?
    No, verification can only be done through the app.

  • My phone camera is broken. How can I do the verification?
    You may try to login into your wallet on another phone and finish the process there.

  • I tried my best but my documents are always rejected. What can I do?
